Packaging Artists
Meet the artists who created our epic packaging designs. Stripped Jerky is proud to work with local independent artists.
Goran – Sgt Pepper
Goran is the man behind Bojboga Design and the master who turned all our great artists’ works into visually apt and functional packaging. Hailing from Serbia he’s a graphic designer that can do just about anything.
Red McLeod – Pioneer
As a gangly-ginger teen growing up in Hawkes Bay through the 90’s – I definitely like to think that my creativity was better than the nickname my friends gave me. Back then it was “Big Red” as I was 6’1 by 13 years old. Now when I play basketball I’m the shortest guy so it’s just “Red”, but my grandmother still calls me James. Anyway, like shooting hoops, or playing music – creating engaging stuff with a talented team is me pretty much living the dream.
Joseph Guilford – Sumo Cowboy
Joe’s a Kiwi residing in Melbourne Strayah! An artist that takes his inspiration from his love of the ocean, music and pop culture. He’s one of the funnest dudes around and that is reflected in his funky style. Joe’s a wild heart. A Yes man. Just ask him, there’s nothing he won’t try.
Jane Gray – Que Sriracha
Jane has been painting professionally since 1983. During this time she furthered her art education at The Slade University, London, where one of her tutors was the renowned Sir Terry Frost. It was here she really understood just how difficult it is to paint in the abstracted form, which she stills per-sues today both on canvas and ceramic forms. Jane finds living in Hawkes Bay and Matakana ideal for her subject matter and the quality of light and life there, is reflected in the vibrancy of her work. Her paintings are recognized as often being large scale using linear fluency with veils of introspective meaning.
